In this workshop we will look at the workflow to treat the acoustics of a small room, such as a home studio for artists. We will share examples of acoustical treatment of home studios that were developed on a budget and using materials that are available in the market.
Requirements for participation:
You’re a Berlin-based music professional in the early stages of establishing your practice
You have basic recording experience
You’re familiar with concepts like reverb, resonance, frequencies

Alexis Campos is an acoustic consultant with more than eight years of experience in the recording studio design and implementation market in Peru, Chile, Germany and Japan. Chair of the Audio Engineering Society AES – Peru, and Master in acoustic engineering from the University of Cadiz in Spain, he has designed more than 70 recording and production studios.
Founded in 2019, Radical Sounds Latin America (RSLA) is a multifaceted initiative encompassing a digital platform, an annual non-profit music festival, and a cultural crossroads located in Berlin. Rooted in the unique terrain and context of Latin America (LATAM), our mission is to spotlight pioneering talents hailing from its diverse regions and diasporas, all of whom operate within the realms of sound, performance, theory, and activism.
