Using or creating objects as media that produce sounds from the materials that are around us such as sorted waste materials. Workshop and performance will introduce and invite the community to channel a form of freedom in the form of sound through the sound-making object, without the limitations of conventional music.
The keys of the workshop:
1. Everyone can play in the sense of making sound.
2. The instrument is not an instrument per se but an object used to produce sound.
3. The sound-making object does not need to be tuned.
4. Adults and children alike can feel free to produce sounds based on their inner sense or feeling.
5. We must bring all our life experience to bear on the music.
6. The structure of the piece should come from exploring the possibilities of the given instrument/the sound-making object.
7. Paying attention, listening and respecting each other is the essence of playing together.
8. Humble & Honesty.
